| Dolls by Berenguer has a long, proud tradition of doll design dating back to 1944. Among the olive and orange groves of Spain, Jose Berenguer began designing dolls and soon gained a reputation for dolls of unsurpassed beauty and quality construction.
In 1980 the Berenguer family introduced the Berjusa dolls in the U.S. To this day, the dolls are known for their realism. Their life-like bodies , down to the wrinkles on the bottoms of the feet, make them loved by collectors of all ages. Their faces also hold wide appeal-their expressions are so very like that of real babies. They even smell like freshly bathed, powdered infants.
